FAQs


 


🎟️ Do I need a ticket?
Yes. Everyone attending the festival must have a valid ticket. Please keep your ticket safe, as lost or damaged tickets cannot be replaced.

 
🔁 Can I leave and come back during the day?
Yes! You’ll be given a wristband at entry, which allows you to leave and re-enter the festival site throughout the day.

 
⏰ What time does the festival start and finish?
The festival starts at 12:00pm and finishes at 10:30pm.

 
🍺 Can I bring my own alcohol?

No
. Due to licensing restrictions, alcohol cannot be brought into or out of the festival. Anyone attempting to bring alcohol may be refused entry.
Don’t worry though — there will be four bars on site offering a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

 
🥤 Can I bring soft drinks or water?

Yes.

  • You may bring up to 1 litre of water per person and 500ml of soft drink
     

  • All drinks must be unopened and sealed on arrival
     

  • Any open containers will be confiscated at the gate
     

  • Camel packs or hydration packs are not permitted
     

You can also bring an empty refillable water bottle, which can be filled at one of the two free drinking water points marked by blue rectangular flags.

 
🍔 Can I bring food?
You may bring snacks and food for children, but full picnics are not permitted.
There will be a wide variety of food available on site, including BBQ, pizza, burgers, ice cream, and more.

 
🔥 Can I bring a BBQ or cook food?
No. BBQs, camping stoves, or any form of cooking equipment are strictly prohibited anywhere on site for safety reasons.

 
🚫 What items am I NOT allowed to bring?
For everyone’s safety, the following items are not permitted:

  • Alcohol
     

  • Illegal substances or “legal highs”
     

  • Glass items
     

  • Sharp objects (including metal picnic cutlery)
     

  • Fireworks
     

  • Laser pens
     

  • Private sound systems
     

  • Professional audio, video, or photographic equipment
     

  • BBQs, stoves, or cooking equipment
     

  • Large tents, gazebos, or tables
     

  • Any items deemed unsafe by event security
     

All guests may be subject to a brief bag search on entry.

 
⛺ Can I bring a gazebo or small tent?

  • Small sun tents (maximum height 1 metre) are allowed in the main arena
     

  • Security may ask you to move them to the perimeter if they cause an obstruction
     

  • Large tents and gazebos are not permitted due to health and safety
     

 
🪑 Can I bring my own chairs or tables?

  • Chairs are allowed, but security may ask you to move them to the perimeter if they cause obstruction
     

  • Chairs are not allowed at the front of the stage
     

  • Tables are not permitted anywhere on site
     

 
🐶 Are dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, no dogs are permitted on site, except registered guide or assistance dogs.

 
👶 Is the festival family-friendly?
Absolutely! The festival is designed with families in mind.

 
🎨 What ages is the KidsZone suitable for?
The KidsZone is best suited for children aged 3 to 15 years, with a range of activities and entertainment.
Children under 3 are welcome but must have a valid ticket to access activities.

 
🧸 What is a Toddler Ticket?
Toddler tickets are for children under 3 years old and include:

  • Access to the family area
     

  • Limited KidsZone activities (sandpit and walk-around entertainment)
     

Please note: toddler tickets do not include all KidsZone activities, but upgrades can be purchased on the day. Toddlers must always be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 18+.

 
🔞 Are there age restrictions?

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+)
     

  • A Challenge 25 policy is in place for alcohol purchases — please bring valid photo ID if you look under 25
     

 
📸 Will photos or videos be taken?
Yes. By attending the festival, you consent to photography, filming, and sound recording as part of the audience for promotional or commercial use.

 
🔊 Will there be loud music or lights?
Yes. Amplified sound and strobe lighting will be used. Please be aware that exposure to loud music may cause hearing damage.

 
♿ What if I have accessibility needs?
Accessibility information is available on our website. Facilities are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed, so we strongly recommend making arrangements in advance.

 
🛍️ Can I trade or sell items at the festival?
Trading is not permitted without prior written permission. Applications to trade at Fi.Fest events must be made through our official website process.

 
🎫 How do I buy tickets?
Tickets should only be purchased through Eventbrite. All official links from our website and social media will direct you there.

 
🖨️ I’m having trouble with my ticket — who do I contact?
For any ticket issues (including printing or missing tickets), please get in touch with Our Ticket Provider directly via their website.

 
⚠️ Anything else I should know?

  • Lost persons should report to one of the security points marked by green flags

  • Fire exits are clearly marked with red flags and must be kept clear at all times.

  • The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, make safety-related changes, or update conditions if needed

In the event of cancellation, refunds are limited to the face value of the ticket unless otherwise stated
